ATHENA MARI ASKLIPIADIS & JEFF CHIBA STEARNS HONOURED BY BE THE MATCH WITH THE AWARENESS AWARD

We are over the moon to announce that Athena Mari Asklipiadis & myself just received the Awareness Award for Mixed Match at the Be The Match Council Meeting in Minneapolis today in front of 1300 people!

What’s even more amazing is that Imani Cornelius one of the film’s main subjects was on stage with us to meet her bone marrow donor John for the very first time! It was an incredible and emotional once in a lifetime moment that we’ll not soon forget.

The Be The Match Council Meeting is a annual meeting held for the NMDP/Be The Match Network to collectively address the challenges of marrow and cord blood transplants for patients in need, and provide an event for partners to network and share ideas.
